More than a family adventure

Come as a family to our half-day refugee simulation and experience the plight of South Sudanese children affected by conflict. A series of challenges will test your children’s creativity, problem-solving skills and resilience, and help equip them to become global citizens endowed with compassion and a broad perspective of our world.

Minimum Fundraising Amount Adult (Above 12): $500 per person
Children (12 or below): $300 per person
Expedition & Workshops

Participants will experience the life in displacement through a series of simulation activities, such as food hunt, working as labour and building temporary shelters so as to learn more about the plight of South Sudanese children and families.


Transportation

Participants are advised to use the free shuttle bus service between The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club and Tseung Kwan O MTR station. Limited parking space at the venue will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Remarks:

  1. This event is not recommended for people with mobility disabilities.
  2. Each participant will be awarded an e-certificate by email within 2 weeks after the event.
  3. For individuals and families, awards will be given to the top three fundraisers; for corporates and groups, awards will be given to the top three fundraisers and the corporate or group with the highest number of participants.



Use of Funds

Funds raised in this event will go to support World Vision’s integrated health and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects in South Sudan that aim to assist children and families in need.
