World Vision cooperates with all schools in Macau to organise different thematic talks and educational activities with the aim to help children, youths and parents gain a deeper understanding of the needs of poor children and communities in developing countries, and reflect on their roles in light of what they learn. Each talk is designed to bring global issues alive for students through multimedia resources and real-life stories.

Your Red Packet

The Lunar New Year is a festive occasion for sharing good fortune and care. This initiative encourages pupils to share in the festive joy by donating a portion of their red packet money; by pooling small contributions, we can work together to help children in need improve their lives, thereby fostering a spirit of generosity in pupils from an early age.

Educational Support:
To enhance the educational value of the initiative, relevant educational talks are available for participating schools to book, enabling pupils to gain a deeper understanding of where their donations go and the needs around the world.

Drawing Competition

Introducing children to the issues of poverty and hunger from an early age is a vital foundation for fostering empathy and a sense of social responsibility. This event encourages pupils to give free rein to their boundless creativity, using their innocent brushstrokes to convey love and good wishes to children living in poverty who are going hungry.

Flag Day

We warmly invite pupils and parents to step outside the classroom and take action to raise funds for children and families living in poverty in developing countries, whilst raising public awareness of the issue of global poverty.
