How Is It Possible?

First, sign up and submit your photo.

We will send your name and photo to the community, where local staff will prepare a “Chosen Party” for the children!

Next, a child will choose you as their sponsor.

After choosing you as their sponsor at the Chosen Party, the child will take a photo holding your picture and write you their first letter, telling you why they chose you.

You will see firsthand the life-changing impact of sponsorship...

We will pool your monthly contributions with those of other sponsors to support initiatives in the child’s community—healthcare, education, clean water, livelihoods, and child protection—so as to bring long-term improvements to their living environment. You will receive regular updates and progress reports, allowing you to witness how your sponsorship transforms both the child’s life and their whole community.

... and celebrate community progress together with the child!

Throughout the sponsorship journey, you can exchange letters with your sponsored child, offering encouragement, blessings, and care. You can also celebrate the community’s progress by sharing small yet meaningful moments that touch both your lives.

  • Chosen is a child sponsorship programme rooted in the belief that every child deserves the power to choose. Instead of being randomly assigned a sponsor, children are empowered to choose their own sponsors. This simple yet powerful experience helps them rediscover their voice, dignity, and confidence—reminding them that their choices matter and that they can help shape a brighter future, starting with choosing who supports them.
  • A “Chosen Party” marks the beginning of life transformation for sponsored children who have the opportunity to choose their own sponsors. At the event, photos of potential sponsors are displayed, allowing children to select their own sponsor. After making their choice, the child will take a photo holding the sponsor’s picture and write a letter to explain why they chose them.
  • Your sponsorship contributions are pooled with those of other sponsors and invested through the Child Sponsorship Programme to support the entire community where sponsored children live. Funding is used for sustainable development projects in key areas such as education, clean water, health, child protection, and livelihoods. By strengthening the whole community, we help create a safer, healthier environment for children and empower families to break the cycle of poverty for the long term.
