  1. We are seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization and its strategies in delivering the organization’s ministry for bringing brighter futures to vulnerable children. Individuals who have a Christian calling to serve the poorest and save lives of children around the world are invited to apply. The candidate will need to demonstrate commitment to the mission and vision of World Vision Hong Kong and strong abilities in raising resources and building a broader base of influencers to join our cause in alleviating poverty.

    Demonstrating executive competency, the candidate should be a leader of vision and integrity, be able to unleash potential of the team and to cultivate relationships and credibility with external stakeholders such as donors, community leaders, churches and the Government. Degree holders with extensive leadership experience in multi-cultural environment and with fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua are highly desirable. The CEO will need to travel for field project visits.

  3. The Marketing & Education Director is responsible for overseeing and managing key functions in the organization, including Marketing, Public Education and Corporate Communications. This role holds ultimate responsibility for the organizations’ fundraising activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Marketing, Public Education and Communications Departments
    • Responsible for the fundraising results and the quality of external communications in both marketing & corporate functions
    • Lead and manage the day-to-day fundraising activities and marketing promotion programs of the Marketing department
    • Lead the Public Education Department to arouse the awareness of world poverty issues through education sectors and churches
    • Explore possibilities for initiatives in fundraising, public relations and educational campaigns
    • Build relationship with existing and new working partners and stakeholders to optimize available opportunities
    • Manage the planning process of yearly strategic and operation plan of the teams


    Requirements & Key Competencies:

    • A strong passion to serve the poor and needy
    • Degree holder with more than 10 years of management experience, preferably in marketing
    • Strategic, analytical, detailed orientated with strong sense of market trends and challenges

  4. Responsibilities

    • Ensure the compliance of corporate policies and procedures as well as local corporate governance standards and legal requirements
    • Review and advise on internal control system & business processes
    • Plan and execute operational audit, standard assurance programs and improvement initiatives for effective corporate governance
    • Coordinate organization risk management programs in terms of risk assessment and related staff training
    • Report to CEO and Audit Committee for audit findings and recommendations


    Job Requirements

    • University graduate with CPA qualification
    • Minimum 3 years audit experience with internal control exposure in sizable corporation
    • Strong analytical and report writing skills
    • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of staff
    • Excellent English and Chinese, both written and verbal

  5. Job Responsibilities

    • Provide all-round HR services to line departments including recruitment and selection,  performance management and salary review
    • Plan and coordinate staff training and development programs
    • Conduct HR analysis and prepare HR reports
    • Organize staff relations activities and staff communication events
    • Support the Head of HR and Administration in process improvement and ad hoc projects


    Job Requirements 

    • University graduate in human resources or a related discipline
    • More than 6 years of experience in human resources, with a genuine heart to serve the Lord in the NGO sector
    • Detail-minded, proactive, excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
    • Good at both spoken and written English and Chinese

  6. Job Responsibilities

    • Plan and implement corporate events, responsible for all the logistics and coordination work for event related activities, including the follow up work with corporate sponsors and partners
    • Closely work with external partners and internal departments to ensure the events are implemented effectively and within budget
    • Plan and prepare promotional materials for events promotion
    • Line up and coordinate volunteers to support the event operation


    Job Requirements

    • Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, of which 3 years in event marketing or event agency experience
    • Good event organization and co-ordination skills
    • Strong sense of responsibility and attentive to details
    • A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese
    • Strong passion to serve the poor

  7. Job Responsibilities

    • Develop concept and design both above-the-line and below-the-line marketing materials
    • Work closely with copywriters to ensure all communications materials follow corporate guidelines and meet the campaign objectives
    • Prepare emergency relief offline advertising materials in an ad hoc manner
    • Work with various users’ departments and help for the event and exhibition set up


    Job Requirements

    • Diploma or above in Graphic Design with at least 3 years of relevant experience in advertising agency or in-house design department
    • Skillful on Mac, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software
    • Good illustration skill with experience in event setting design is a plus

  8. Job Responsibilities:

    • Assess project proposals and make funding recommendation.
    • Monitor and evaluate overseas development projects funded by World Vision Hong Kong.
    • Handle correspondence with overseas offices.
    • Manage and maintain financial database, consolidate data and carry out data analysis.
    • Disseminate information to other departments for fundraising, educational activities, communication or internal training purpose.


    Job Requirements:

    • University graduate with at least 3 years of working experience.
    • Analytical, systematic and well-organized.
    • High quality awareness with accuracy and efficiency, detail-minded.
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as Mandarin.

  9. Job Responsibilities

    • Provide quality IT help desk technical support on hardware and software problem solving services to end users
    • Set up and install PC, laptop and related equipments
    • Maintain hardware, software asset and license management
    • Conduct computer related training to user
    • Support and maintain a reliable network and connectivity for the organization


    Job Requirements

    • Diploma or above in Computing related studies
    • 2 years or above related experiences, fresh graduate will also be considered
    • Experience in managing desktop, printer, server and network appliance
    • Hands on experience with supporting popular OS and desktop application. e.g. Microsoft Office and Adobe products
    • Knowledge in Internet technologies such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, switching, routing and network security
    • Experience in using Symantec BackupExec and McAfee Anti-virus software are advantages

  10. Job Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement awareness campaign and public education programs to promote student’s understanding of global poverty issues.
    • Cultivate a conviction in caring for the poor among international school students and secondary schools students through talks, simulation games and discussion.
    • Design and develop presentation materials and educational resources for international schools and secondary schools students.
    • Support corporate functions as required.


    Job Requirements & Key Competencies:

    • University graduate, preferably in humanities, social science, communications or education with at least 3 years of working experience in related profession.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.  Confidence in delivering talks in front of large groups, and leading discussions, workshops and simulated activities among teenagers.
    • Identify with World Vision's mission and core values in serving the poor.
    • A strong passion for young people and a caring heart for the poor.  Sensitive to development and global poverty issues.
    • Quick learner, self-motivated and good attention to details.
    • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
    • Candidate with less experience will be considered for Assistant Public Education Officer.

  11. Job Responsibilities

    • Designing and implementing awareness campaign and public education programs to promote student’s understanding of global poverty issues.
    • Cultivating a conviction in caring of the poor among kindergarten students through talks, simulating activities and education resources.
    • Designing and developing presentation materials and educational resources for kindergartens.
    • Engaging with schools to build and cultivating relationship, and promote World Vision’s ministries.
    • Supporting corporate functions and other department duties.
       

    Job Requirements

    • Degree holder, preferably with training in early childhood education or life education.
    • At least 3 years of working experience in related profession. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Public Education Officer.

  12. Job Responsibilities:

    • Providing administrative support to the Donation Processing Department, such as processing donation transactions, inputting data and preparing receipt.
    • Contacting donor for data update and data clarification.
    • Assisting in quality control.


    Job Requirements:

    • Post-secondary or above with at least 3 years working experience, preferably in administrative support or customer services.
    • High quality awareness with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Detail-minded, good problem solving skills and able to work independently.
      Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Chinese word processing.
    • Suitable candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Donor Services Officer.

  13. Job Responsibilities

    Position 1: DS Officer (Field Services)

    • Handling queries/requests from donors by coordinating with overseas offices
    • Supporting donor retention activities
    • Providing administrative support such as taking minutes and filing
    • Supporting corporate events while needed


       

    Position 2: DS Officer (Translations)

    • Reviewing and editing the content and design of annual child reports and other key child correspondences to enhance our reporting services
    • Liaising with overseas offices to clarify project information and child updates
    • Translating reports and correspondences for our Chinese readers
    • Working with the production team to develop project closure reports
    • Preparing written replies to special enquiries from donors.
    • Supporting department and corporate functions while needed.


    Position 3: Assistant DS Officer (Translations)

    • Translating correspondences for child sponsors
    • Administering the mass mailing of sponsors' and children's correspondences
    • Checking the quality of children's videos and correspondences
    • Liaising with volunteers and oversee their translation work
    • Providing administrative support to the Departments.


    Job Requirements

    Position 1:

    • Post-secondary education or above with at least 5 years working experience, preferably in customer services or sales administration with overseas partners/offices
    • Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
    • Customer-oriented with good communication skills
    • Details-minded, well-organized and able to work independently 
    • Analytical, with problem solving skills and PC skills
    • Suitable candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Donor Services Officer

    Position 2 & 3

    • Proficiency in written Chinese and English.
    • Self-motivated and well-organized

    Additional for position 2:

    • University graduate with at least 3 years of working experience in translation or related field, suitable candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Donor Services Officer
    • Detail-minded and able to work independently.


    Additional for position 3:

    • Tertiary education with 1-3 years of working experience in translation or administration, suitable candidate with more working experience will be considered as Donor Services Officer.
    • Meticulous and good communication skills.
