Disasters Make it Hard to Put Food on the Table
The unusual weather in Zimbabwe meant that 9-year-old Natasha’s home was destroyed by cyclones and hailstorms, while her family’s poultry and her school books were all washed away by the floods. Her family is now unable to pay for the children’s school fees and even afford food, only eating two meals of cornmeal porridge a day at times.
No matter rich or poor, children should be able to enjoy the rights to live and thrive. Please take part in Skip-A-Meal to sow hope for starving children.
