University Partnership Initiatives

World Vision collaborates with institutions to enhance courses with global citizenship, international issues, and sustainability through student-led project design and workshops.

The University of Hong Kong

Since 2016, in partnership with HKU's Faculty of Education, 1-week and 5-week internship programmes have been held annually in March and October, offering students hands-on experience in international organisations, school lectures, and student activity planning.

#ImmersiveExperience #PracticalLearning

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Since 2023, in partnership with the Student Affairs Office, the "EAGLE Global Youth Leadership Programme" has organised educational trips to Kathmandu, Nepal. This initiative allows university and secondary students to design sustainable, eco-friendly learning environments for communities in which World Vision serves.

Global Citizen Internship Programme

The local internship programme, held annually from June to July, offers students an eight-week experience in World Vision Hong Kong's fundraising and public education work. Participants work across departments, gaining insight into the organisation's mission, while developing social responsibility and practical skills. Weekly activities, including staff sharing sessions, online exchanges with children from other countries, and volunteering, expose students to diverse perspectives, inspiring them to become more responsible and proactive global citizens.
