Senior Church Partnership & Development Officer

Job Summary:

The Senior Church Partnership and Development Officer will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with other churches and faith-based organizations. This role involves strategic planning, outreach, and collaboration to support World Vision Hong Kong’s mission, as well as deepen and expand its partnership with local churches.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Partnership Development:
- Identify potential church and organizational partners that align with World Vision's mission and values.
- Develop and implement strategies to establish and maintain partnerships.
- Conduct outreach to potential partners through calls, meetings, and events.

2. Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner churches and organizations.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing partners.
- Coordinate joint activities, events, and programs with partner churches.

3. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with church leadership to develop long-term partnership goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership initiatives and programs to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Provide regular reports and updates to church leadership on partnership activities and outcomes.

4. Event Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate partnership events, including conferences, workshops, and community service projects.
- Work with church staff and volunteers to ensure successful execution of events.
- Promote partnership events through various communication channels.

5. Resource Development:
- Assist in the creation of promotional materials and resources to support partnership initiatives.
- Identify funding opportunities and assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts for partnership projects.

6. Communication:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with partners.
- Ensure timely dissemination of information regarding partnership activities and opportunities.
- Utilize social media, newsletters, and other platforms to promote partnership efforts.

Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Theology/Christian Studies/Christian Ministry, Management, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in church ministry, nonprofit management, business development, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of faith-based community dynamics and church operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
