Assistant Manager (Website Project 12-month contract)
OVERALL OBJECTIVE
The Assistant Manager will lead the operational planning, vendor coordination, and cross-functional execution of the website revamp project. This role is responsible for driving project timelines, managing internal and external stakeholder requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of an upgraded website aligned with organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities:

Project & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary liaison for third-party external development/CMS vendors, managing project timelines, scope, deliverables, and regular stakeholder progress updates.

CMS Configuration & Migration: Collaborate with the external development/CMS vendors and internal stakeholders to customize the CMS platform and lead cross-functional efforts to migrate content smoothly to the new site architecture.

UX/UI Collaboration & QA Testing: Work closely with the vendors and designers to ensure user-centric site flows, conduct rigorous cross-browser and cross-device QA testing, and manage defect resolution prior to release.

SEO Oversight & Content Strategy: Support foundational on-page SEO best practices (metadata, site structure, redirect mapping) while establishing content templates, governance workflows, and publishing standards.

Analytics, Optimization & Promotion: Assist with web analytics to track performance and user behavior, keep up with CMS security/feature releases, and support social media outreach to promote site updates and major campaigns.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Minimum 5 years of hands-on website project management, leading end-to-end redesigns from planning to post-launch.

Practical experience in CMS configuration, content migration, UX/UI collaboration, QA testing, and on-page SEO (metadata, redirects, architecture).

Experience with web analytics setup, performance monitoring, and cross-channel promotion for site campaigns and updates.

Professional certification in project management or Agile/Scrum methodologies, such as PMP, CAPM, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), would be an advantage.

Hands-on familiarity with modern Content Management Systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, Webflow, or headless CMS platforms, and web analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics 4.

Basic understanding of front-end development principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as web design and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Adobe XD, to facilitate effective liaison with IT and design teams.
