Public Education Officer (Children's Ministry)

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement awareness campaigns, education programs and children engagement activities, with an aim to promote student’s understanding of global poverty issues
• Cultivate a conviction in caring for the poor among kindergarten and primary school students through talks, puppet stories, multimedia materials, experiential workshops and other education resources
• Engage with schools, volunteers, youth and external partners to build effective relationships and promote World Vision’s ministries
• Support corporate functions and department duties as required

• University graduate, preferably in Humanities, Social Science, Education or Communications
  
• At least 3 years of work experience in related profession, preferably in managing children and youth engagement projects.  Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Public Education Officer
• Identify with World Vision’s mission and core values in serving the poor, a strong passion for children and young people, and a caring heart for the poor
• Strong communication and presentation skills. Confidence in delivering talks in front of large groups and facilitating experiential workshops among children
• Open-minded, self-motivated and good attention to details
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
• On renewable contract term for the initial two years. Candidates with satisfactory performance may convert to permanent employment afterwards based on business needs
