Event Officer

Overall Objective(s):

Major Responsibilities:

Generate creative ideas and concepts for WVHK's branding and fundraising events, as well as other event-related promotional campaigns in both online and offline formats.
Assist in planning, development, and organising indoor/outdoor events and promotional projects, including tasks such as sourcing of suppliers, quotation and cost preparation, online registration, design coordination, factory production, on-site operations, and post-event evaluation etc. This may include fundraising campaigns, ceremonies, exhibitions, performances, and more.
Collaborate and maintain effective communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of events and project promotions.
Perform assigned ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Degree holder in Event Management, Marketing/Digital Marketing, Communications or equivalent;
Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in event marketing and management (both online and offline events) and promotions, Experience in working in social services or non-profit organizations will be an added advantage;
Relevant work experience with proven capabilities in strategic and creative handling of digital marketing campaigns/events will be advantageous;
Fresh graduate is also welcome.
On renewable contract term for the initial two years. Candidates with satisfactory performance may convert to permanent employment afterwards based on business needs.
