Head of HR & Administration

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the HR & Administration Department, provide leadership in people acquisition & retention, culture development, volunteer management, office maintenance and administration
  • Manage staff survey and develop plan to strengthen staff engagement
  • Facilitate development of key role succession plan and organize talent development program
  • Develop staff training and development initiatives to build staff competencies and skills
  • Partner with the Global Office for the HRIS (Workday) implementation project
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant to local laws and in alignment with World Vision global polices
  • Lead the administration team to maintain a safe and healthy workplace, provide office administration services to internal users and logistic support to public events
  • Supervise the administration team in performing premise and facilities management
  • Liaise with the Incorporated Owners and Management Office for the office premise management matters


Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience, of which 5 years in leading teams
  • Previous HR experience in the NGO sector and premise management experience are highly preferred
  • Well versed with HK employment laws, knowledge of Macau employment laws is an added advantage
  • Solid experience in HRIS (MRC & Workday) is preferred
  • Strong people, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • A strong passion to serve the poor and needy
  • On renewable contract term for the initial two years. Candidates with satisfactory performance may convert to permanent employment afterwards based on business needs
