Senior Event Officer / Event Officer

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop creative ideas for organization’s branding and fundraising events, and other event-related promotional campaigns (both online & offline formats)
  • Plan, develop and implement events and promotional projects, from quotation & cost preparation, online registration, designing, factory production, on-site operation to post-event evaluation, including but not limited to fundraising campaigns, ceremonies, exhibitions, performances
  • Liaise and collaborate with relevant internal and external parties to ensure smooth execution of events and projects promotion and operation
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Higher Diploma / Degree holder in Event Management, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in event marketing & management (both online and offline events) and promotions.  Candidates with less experience will be considered as Event Officer.
  • Experience in social services or non-profit organization will be an added advantage
  • Proven capabilities of being strategic and creative in handling digital marketing campaigns/events will be advantageous
  • Good communication skills, responsible, well-organized, independent, creative, multi-tasking, able to anticipate needs and prioritize work
  • Able to meet tight deadline, work under pressure and work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Applications
  • Work outdoor and work on weekends & public holidays occasionally
  • On renewable contract term for the initial two years. Candidates with satisfactory performance may convert to permanent employment afterwards based on business needs
