Event Details

To experience the plight of Zimbabwean children and raise funds to support them, Famine Stars Kenny Kwan and Keung To will attempt a series of challenges in the wild, while ILUB will serve as judges to decide whether their efforts are good enough to exchange for “baggage allowance”. The bigger the allowance, the more assistance will go towards helping the people of Zimbabwe.

As an analogy, the funds raised prior to the Famine Trip will help the Famine Stars and self-famine participants obtain their “boarding passes” and send them on their way, while the funds raised during the trip are like upgrading their baggage allowances so as to send more help to the hungry from afar.

By donating a lump-sum amount of at least HK$500 (exclusive of donations via the personal fundraising page), or raising a minimum of HK$500 on the personal fundraising page, donors will become “Famine Trippers” and can redeem a Famine Challenge Pack^* (first-come, first-served according to the submission time of the redemption form). Those who complete the challenges in time and upload a photo of the finished product to Facebook / Instagram with the hashtag #2021饑饉30饑饉挑戰包任務 according to the instructions in the Famine Challenge Pack may win an Ultimate Prize, to be chosen by the Famine Stars. The two winners will be invited to attend the Closing Performance at Cyberport alongside the Famine Stars!

Also, the general public is welcome to upload cheering videos to Facebook / Instagram with the hashtag #我撐2021饑饉之星 during the designated period on 19 March. The uploaders of the two most touching videos, as chosen by the Famine Stars, will be invited to interact with the Famine Stars during the live stream. Stay tuned!
