Enrolment Information

  1. This is a charity walk event, which is not recommended for people with mobility disabilities.
  2. Participants aged below 18 must obtain consent from a parent/guardian to participate in the event. Children aged 12 or below must be accompanied by an adult.
  3. Each participant will be awarded a certificate at the venue after the event.
  4. For individuals and families, awards will be given to the top three fundraisers; for organisations and groups, awards will be given to the top three fundraisers and the organisation/group with the highest number of participants. Registered companies, institutions, schools and churches are classified as 'organisations and groups', and the rest are classified as 'individuals and families'. The cut-off date for all awards is 13 January 2020.
  5. You can apply online or mail your completed enrolment form to the address provided. Please allow yourself enough time for fundraising. Please submit the minimum fundraising amount as soon as possible to secure participation.
  6. Please provide email address(es) if participants require an online sponsorship page and/or receive electronic donation receipts.
  7. For any changes to be made after submission of enrolment form, please email hotline@worldvision.org.hk or contact World Vision's Donor Services Team on 2394 2394.
  8. If all quotas have been filled before the enrolment deadline, World Vision will decline new enrolments and reserves the right to cancel online enrolments that have failed to submit the minimum fundraising amount.
  9. On the event day, World Vision will not accept on-site enrolments.
  10. Confirmation letter of participation will be emailed or mailed within 2 weeks before the event. If you do not receive the email on or before 22 January 2020, please call 2394 2394 for assistance.
  11. World Vision reserves the right to make the final decision in case of any disputes.
  12. The Organisers, sponsors and supporting organisations will not be responsible for any accident caused during the event.
  13. The Organisers reserve the right to use any photograph and video of the event for future promotion.
  14. The Organisers will make every effort to hold the event as scheduled. If the event is eventually cancelled due to bad weather or safety concerns, we encourage participants to continue their support for World Vision's development projects in Afghanistan. If participants would like to request for a refund of their donations, please send an email to hotline@worldvision.org.hk or contact World Vision's Donor Services Team on 2394 2394.

Online Enrolment

Step 1:

Please read the Enrolment Information carefully.

Step 2:

Enrol online. You should receive an email of verification after you have completed the online enrolment. Please click and verify your email address.

Step 3:

A confirmation email of enrollment with an online sponsorship page will be sent to you within 1 working day, through which you can invite relatives and friends to sponsor you for the event. You will have to meet the minimum fundraising amount as soon as possible to secure participation.

Step 4:

After submitting the minimum fundraising amount, a confirmation letter of participation will be emailed or mailed to you within two weeks before the event. For group entry, only one confirmation letter will be emailed or mailed to the contact person. If you have not received the letter by 22 January 2020, please contact World Vision's Donor Services Team on 2394 2394. Please present this letter on the event day for registration.

Step 5:

Keep up with your fundraising work to support World Vision to provide livelihood assistance, child protection and healthcare to Afghan children and families living in adversity.






Form Enrolment

Step 1:

Download and mail completed enrolment form to World Vision Hong Kong, Freepost No. 69, indicating “Spring Charity Walk for Children” on the envelope (you can submit your crossed cheque or bank-in receipt along with the completed form).

Step 3:

A confirmation email of enrolment will be sent to you within 5 working days upon receipt of your enrolment form. If you have provided your personal email in the form, an online sponsorship page will be sent to you as well, through which you can invite relatives and friends to sponsor you for the event. You will have to meet the minimum fundraising amount as soon as possible to secure participation.

Step 4:
