  1. We are seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization and its strategies in delivering the organization’s ministry for bringing brighter futures to vulnerable children. Individuals who have a Christian calling to serve the poorest and save lives of children around the world are invited to apply. The candidate will need to demonstrate commitment to the mission and vision of World Vision Hong Kong and strong abilities in raising resources and building a broader base of influencers to join our cause in alleviating poverty.

    Demonstrating executive competency, the candidate should be a leader of vision and integrity, be able to unleash potential of the team and to cultivate relationships and credibility with external stakeholders such as donors, community leaders, churches and the Government. Degree holders with extensive leadership experience in multi-cultural environment and with fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua are highly desirable. The CEO will need to travel for field project visits.

  2. Job Responsibilities:

    • Be a faithful driver of fundraising opportunities with new and existing corporations and major donors
    • Identify and develop new collaboration opportunities for expanding the network with corporations
    • Assist in the coordination of Skip-A-Meal campaign
    • Provide effective donor services and reporting to corporations and major donors that partner in funding projects
    • Support the organization in fundraising activities when needed, including seeking event sponsorships

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor holder with minimum 6 years of fundraising or sales experience
    • Proven track record in achieving business results and building relationship with corporate clients
    • Preferable to have exposure in retail or FMCG
    • Good organizational and communication skills
    • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
    • On renewal contract term for the initial two years. Candidate with good performance might have chance to convert to permanent employment afterwards based on business needs
  3. Job Responsibilities

    • Obtain and evaluate information about industry and market trends, conduct competitive analysis to identify possible opportunities and threats
    • Contribute ideas and facilitate discussion for developing organizational strategy
    • Prepare strategy papers and presentations
    • Coordinate and support the implementation of global strategic initiatives in the organization
    • Monitor organizational strategy to ensure alignment with the global strategic direction

    Job Requirements

    • Degree holder with proven experience in strategy development and implementation
    • Good knowledge of  the charity business and market context
    • Proficient in numeracy, strong analytical mind and research skills
    • Good communication skills and presentation skills
    • On renewable contract term
  4. Job Responsibilities

    • Plan and implement corporate events, responsible for all the logistics and coordination work for event related activities, including the follow up work with corporate sponsors and partners
    • Closely work with external partners and internal departments to ensure the events are implemented effectively and within budget
    • Plan and prepare promotional materials for events promotion
    • Line up and coordinate volunteers to support the event operation


    Job Requirements

    • Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, of which 3 years in event marketing or event agency experience
    • Good event organization and co-ordination skills
    • Strong sense of responsibility and attentive to details
    • A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese
    • Strong passion to serve the poor
    • On renewable contract term
  5. Job Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the operation of income team
    • Ensure effective accounting operation for all kinds of donation
    • Liaise with bankers and services providers for donation collection channels
    • Support fundraising events and outdoor promotion audit
    • Prepare financial analysis and reports

    Job Requirements:

    • ACCA/HKICPA final stage with degree in Accounting
    • At least 8 years working experience in Accounting including minimum 3 years at supervisory level
    • 1-2 years experience in CPA firm preferred
    • Good spoken & written English and Chinese
    • Good in Microsoft Office especially Excel at Advance level
    • Exposure in FlexAccount preferred but not a must
    • On renewal contract term for the initial two years. Candidates with good performance might have chance to convert to permanent employment afterwards based on business needs

  6. Job Responsibilities:

    • Assess project proposals and make funding recommendation.
    • Monitor and evaluate overseas development projects funded by World Vision Hong Kong.
    • Handle correspondence with overseas offices.
    • Manage and maintain financial database, consolidate data and carry out data analysis.
    • Disseminate information to other departments for fundraising, educational activities, communication or internal training purpose.


    Job Requirements:

    • University graduate with at least 3 years of working experience.
    • Analytical, systematic and well-organized.
    • High quality awareness with accuracy and efficiency, detail-minded.
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as Mandarin.
    • Sensitive to international issue, passionate to serve the poor, especially the children.

  7. Job Responsibilities:

    • To translate correspondences for child sponsors
    • To administer the mass mailing of sponsors’ and children’s correspondences
    • To check the quality of children's videos and correspondences
    • To liaise with field offices on the handling of correspondences
    • To liaise with volunteers and oversee their translation work
    • To provide clerical and administrative support to the Donor Relations Department


    Job Requirements:

    • Post-secondary education with 1-3 years of working experience in translation or administration (more working experience will be considered as Donor Services Officer)
    • Proficiency in written Chinese and English
    • Self-motivated, well-organized, meticulous, and good communication skills
    • On renewable contract term
  8. Job Responsibilities

    • Provide general accounting duties and administration support for Finance Department
    • Prepare accounting vouchers and maintain department's central filing
    • Keep petty cash and fixed asset register
    • Prepare bank reconciliation statements

    Job Requirements

    • Diploma in accounting with LCCI Level II preferred, DSE graduate with Accounting subject will also be considered
    • 2-3 years of working experience in accounting field
    • Acceptable level of written English and Chinese
    • Hands on skill in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
    • On renewable contract term
