Promotion Strategies
To have better promotion results for your activity, you may want to refer to the following strategies:
- Use your social network: post the details of your activity in your Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Xanga, etc, or MSN to invite your friends to join you!
- Fill in the enrolment form and download our poster for promotion.
- Borrow our educational resources and show them in assemblies / in lessons / anywhere together with details of your activities in the school.
- Send e-mails to all students through the school / General Office / Student Union.
- Distribute leaflets and set up registration booths in the school.
- Upload your promotional video or highlights of the activity onto YouTube!
- Contact student newspapers / clubs and societies to publish your advertisements.
- Invite student journalists or the media to your school to report the famine activity.
- Give a press release to the mass media to promote your activity.
- Share your thoughts and feelings concerning the activity with others so that more people will care about the needs of the poor.
- Be creative in your promotion: Set up an unconventional goal or prize so that it becomes a hot topic for discussion in the school. For example, if the donation reaches $10,000, a day will be fixed when the principal and teachers will wear school uniforms to school while students will wear casual!
