Promotion Strategies

To have better promotion results for your activity, you may want to refer to the following strategies:

  1. Use your social network: post the details of your activity in your Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Xanga, etc, or MSN to invite your friends to join you!

  2. Fill in the enrolment form and download our poster for promotion.

  3. Borrow our educational resources and show them in assemblies / in lessons / anywhere together with details of your activities in the school.

  4. Send e-mails to all students through the school / General Office / Student Union.

  5. Distribute leaflets and set up registration booths in the school.

  6. Upload your promotional video or highlights of the activity onto YouTube!

  7. Contact student newspapers / clubs and societies to publish your advertisements.

  8. Invite student journalists or the media to your school to report the famine activity.

  9. Give a press release to the mass media to promote your activity.

  10. Share your thoughts and feelings concerning the activity with others so that more people will care about the needs of the poor.

  11. Be creative in your promotion: Set up an unconventional goal or prize so that it becomes a hot topic for discussion in the school. For example, if the donation reaches $10,000, a day will be fixed when the principal and teachers will wear school uniforms to school while students will wear casual!
