WORLD VISION OF MACAU ASSOCIATION
World Vision began its work in Macau helping the orphans in the 1970s
and started to raise funds for local and overseas emergency relief in
1991, including Fai Chi Kei Fire Disaster of Macau, Bangladesh Cyclone
Relief, and Eastern China Flood Relief.
To further mobilise the people of Macau to care for and help the needy
around the world, the World Vision of Macau Association was officially
established in 1993. Various fundraising and public education programmes,
such as fundraising events, school talks, famine activities, etc., are
being organised to raise public awareness of the needs of developing countries.
