As the global food shortage has increased in severity, the impact of soaring food prices has affected millions of people. As a global citizen, how can we remain unaffected and take no action? World Vision appeals to all schools in Hong Kong to show their concern by participating in the "Global Food Crisis Awareness Campaign 2008-09". Over 95,000 students from 160 schools (including kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools) supported this meaningful event by watching the educational video at school and wearing the Global Food Crisis Awareness Campaign stickers on "World Food Day".
