Please pray for children suffering hunger and famine

Hundreds of millions of people in the world are suffering from hunger. Some of them die because they do not have enough to eat.

In developing countries, hunger and famine have a great impact. Each day:

• An estimated 923 million people around the world remain undernourished. (Source: FAO 2008)
• About 17,000 children die because of hunger. (Source: FAO 2006)
  

Please pray for children and families suffering from hunger and famine:

• That the Lord remembers these children and families, and they would experience His comfort and providence;
• That He would bless the relief and development operations of World Vision and other agencies, so that the needy not only receive timely assistance, but also become self-reliant;
• That different governments would join hands to pool resources, and implement relevant policies to solve the problem of hunger.
