"I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4

Please pray for those affected by the Sichuan earthquake:

1. Many roads have been damaged or blocked. Pray for the quick delivery of the relief items to those needy people.
2. For the more than 240,000 injured, pray for their recovery from the turmoil, and an adequate supply of medicine and medical personnel to help them. For those who have lost their limbs, pray that the Lord will heal them and give them courage to face their future.
3. For those, especially children and parents, who have lost their family members, pray that they will be comforted and guided by the Lord through this difficult time.
4. Many houses were destroyed. Pray for an adequate provision of temporary shelters, food and clean water for the victims, and God's protection against any outbreak of epidemics.
5. Pray that God will grant the Chinese government, World Vision and other relief organisations the wisdom to attend efficiently and effectively to the needs of the affected.
