HomeChild SponsorshipWhat is Child Sponsorship?

The best way to change a child's life is to change the world in which they live. World Vision Child Sponsorship is child-focused and community-based, with the aim of helping the sponsored child's family and community in developing countries address the root causes of poverty, and build a self-reliant community.

How does Child Sponsorship Help Children?

World Vision pools the monthly contributions of sponsors to implement ADPs in sponsored children's communities, usually for 10–15 years, to help improve the areas of water, agriculture, healthcare, education and economic development. We also encourage the entire community, including women and children, to participate in the process, and thus empower them to address the root causes of poverty. In return, your sponsored child will get access to the basic necessities and grow healthily.
