Kay and Chu Fun are experiencing the hardship of farming by pounding grains Sogahi, a bright lively girl, is the only child in the family who can see – her three elder siblings were all born blind. By giving her some stationery, Kay encourages her sponsored daughter Kamrunnahar to cherish the learning opportunity and work hard. Old wheels and broken sticks are the only toys for Shajib. Although simple, the toys bring enormous joy to Shajib. A simple “Mommy Kay” from Shajib melts the heart of Kay. Embracing her sponsored child Socco, Chu Fun cannot help but cry.
Bringing along eggs and oil to families in the mountainous areas, Vivian and Kevin fried the eggs for the hungry children. By tying a ponytail for her sponsored daughter – an orphan, Thi Thu – Vivian hopes to bring love and care to her by being her second mom. A box of colourful pencils brings great joy to the poor children. Seeing his sponsored child AE play happily with the soccer ball he gave him, Kevin feels the same happiness and shows a fatherly smile. Happiness can be found in simple things: a bottle of soap brings children much fun. Enjoying the company of the two playmates, the children’s laughter fills the mountains, bringing all wonderful and beautiful memories.
