  1. The Marketing & Education Director is responsible for overseeing and managing key functions in the organization, including Marketing, Public Education and Corporate Communications. This role holds ultimate responsibility for the organizations fundraising activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Marketing, Public Education and Communications Departments
    • Responsible for the fundraising results and the quality of external communications in both marketing & corporate functions
    • Lead and manage the day-to-day fundraising activities and marketing promotion programs of the Marketing departments
    • Lead the Public Education Department to arouse the awareness of world poverty issues through education sectors and churches
    • Explore possibilities for initiatives in fundraising, public relations and educational campaigns
    • Build relationship with existing and new working partners and stakeholders to optimize available opportunities
    • Manage the planning process of yearly strategic and operation plan of the teams


    Requirements & Key Competencies:

    • A strong passion to serve the poor and needy
    • Degree holder with more than 10 years of management experience, preferably in marketing
    • Strategic, analytical, detailed orientated with strong sense of market trends and challenges
    • Strong relationship building capability and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent English and Chinese communications skills, both written and spoken
    • On renewable contract term
  2. Job Responsibilities:

    • Obtain and evaluate information about industry and market trends, competitive threats and possible opportunities
    • Contribute research, analysis and ideas for developing the organization strategy to ensure that organisation initiatives are integrated and aligned with strategic goals and objectives
    • Prepare strategy papers and presentations to be made to the management and the board
    • Partner with the executive team to identify and develop the necessary processes and allocate resources for effective implementation of strategic plans
    • Monitor strategy and business plan implementation and advise on the follow-up as needed


    Requirements & Key competencies:

    • Degree holder with proven experience in strategy development and implementation
    • Good knowledge of the charity business and market context is preferred
    • Possess analytical mind and strong research skills
    • Strong leadership and presentation skills

  3. Job Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate board meetings, prepare agenda, meeting materials, minutes and correspondences in compliance with the laws
    • Advise on the compliance with corporate governance legal requirements and alignment with World Vision global governance guidelines
    • Coordinate board activities including board orientation and development programs, participation in conferences and project visits etc
    • Manage corporate policy administration and implementation


    Job Requirements and Key Competencies:

    • University degree holder
    • At least 3 years proven company secretarial / corporate governance experience
    • HKICS membership or equivalent is preferred
    • Excellent command of both written and verbal English and Chinese
    • Independent, well organized and detailed-oriented
    • On renewable contract term
    • Support CEO in external relations, overseas trips and reception of overseas guests
    • Internal meeting coordination
    • University graduate with 6 years working experience
    • Excellent English and Chinese communications skills, both written and spoken
    • Good at photo and video shooting and digital communications
    • With passion to serve the poor and needy

  4. Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide quality and effective English copywriting, translation and editing support for marketing and corporate communications functions
    • Work closely with user departments and in-house designers to build innovative campaigns with creative idea
    • Write feature articles to support the organisation's advocacy initiatives
    • Work independently in research and resources gathering from internal and external sources
    • Ensure consistent campaign message across different offline and online media
    • Conduct field trip visits for collecting resources


    Job Requirements and Key Competencies:

    • University graduate in Communications, Journalism, Translation, English or related disciplines
    • Strong writing, translation and research skills with creative thinking
    • Self-motivated, detail-minded, well organised, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
    • A good team player
    • Strong passion to serve the poor

    • Assess, monitor and evaluate overseas development projects funded by World Vision Hong Kong
    • Handle correspondence with overseas offices
    • Manage and maintain financial database, consolidate data and carry out data analysis
    • University graduate with at least 3 years of working experience
    • Analytical, systematic and well-organized
    • High quality awareness with accuracy and efficiency, detail-minded
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as Mandarin
    • Sensitive to international issue, passionate to serve the poor, especially the children
    • On renewable contract term
    • Deliver talks, develop educational resources and simulation workshops for secondary school students and international school students to develop their conviction in caring for the poor
    • Design and implement awareness campaigns and programs to promote youth's understanding of global poverty issues
    • Liaise with schools on educational services and coordinate related administrative work
    • University graduate, preferably in humanities, social science or communications with at least 3 years of working experience in related profession
    • Identify with World Vision's mission and core values in serving the poor
    • A passion for young people and a caring heart for the poor. Knowledge in development and global poverty issue is an advantage
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  Confidence in delivering talks for large groups and to different student segments, and leading discussion among teams
    • Self-motivated, sensitive to global, particularly poverty related issue
    • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
    • Experience in social media and campaigning is an advantage
    • Candidate with less experience can be considered for Assistant Public Education Officer
    • On renewable contract term

    • Administer massive sponsored child data sorting and screening
    • Follow up abnormal cases with oversea offices, or vice versa
    • Post-secondary education with at least 3 years working experience
    • Experience in sales administration with oversea offices is an advantage
    • Analytical, detail-minded and well organized
    • Good written and spoken English and Chinese
    • On renewable contract term
    • Process donation transactions and receipt preparation
    • Post secondary education or above
    • At least 2 years of data processing or related experience
    • Experience in using data processing system is an advantage
    • Detail-minded and well organised

    • Provide customer services and handle outbound / inbound calls to donors
    • Post-secondary education with customer services / call center working experience preferable
    • Customer-oriented with good telephone manner
    • Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese

    • Candidate with more experience would be considered as Donor Services Officer
