  1. We are seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization and its strategies in delivering the organization’s ministry for bringing brighter futures to vulnerable children. Individuals who have a Christian calling to serve the poorest and save lives of children around the world are invited to apply. The candidate will need to demonstrate commitment to the mission and vision of World Vision Hong Kong and strong abilities in raising resources and building a broader base of influencers to join our cause in alleviating poverty.

    Demonstrating executive competency, the candidate should be a leader of vision and integrity, be able to unleash potential of the team and to cultivate relationships and credibility with external stakeholders such as donors, community leaders, churches and the Government. Degree holders with extensive leadership experience in multi-cultural environment and with fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua are highly desirable. The CEO will need to travel for field project visits.

    • Excellent spoken and written communiation in both English and Chinese
    • A servant leader who leads by example and sacrifice
    • Willingness to travel to remote communities and disaster areas
    • Proven track record in achieving business results and staff management
    • On renewable contract term
  3. The Marketing & Education Director is responsible for overseeing and managing key functions in the organization, including Marketing, Public Education and Corporate Communications. This role holds ultimate responsibility for the organizations’ fundraising activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Marketing, Public Education and Communications Departments
    • Responsible for the fundraising results and the quality of external communications in both marketing & corporate functions
    • Lead and manage the day-to-day fundraising activities and marketing promotion programs of the Marketing department
    • Lead the Public Education Department to arouse the awareness of world poverty issues through education sectors and churches
    • Explore possibilities for initiatives in fundraising, public relations and educational campaigns
    • Build relationship with existing and new working partners and stakeholders to optimize available opportunities
    • Manage the planning process of yearly strategic and operation plan of the teams


    Requirements & Key Competencies:

    • A strong passion to serve the poor and needy
    • Degree holder with more than 10 years of management experience, preferably in marketing
    • Strategic, analytical, detailed orientated with strong sense of market trends and challenges
    • Strong relationship building capability and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent English and Chinese communications skills, both written and spoken
    • On renewable contract term
  4. Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide quality IT help desk technical support and hardware and software problem solving services to end users
    • Set up and install PC, printer, software and equipment
    • Maintain hardware, software asset and license management
    • Support and maintain a reliable network and connectivity for the organization
    • Conduct user training on IT software and user operation


    Job Requirements:

    • Diploma or above in Computing related studies
    • 3 years or above related experiences
    • Experience in managing desktop, printer, server and network appliance
    • Hands on experience with using and supporting popular desktop application and software packages e.g. Microsoft Office and Adobe products
    • Knowledge in Internet technologies such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, switching, routing and network security
    • Experience in using Symantec BackupExec and McAfee Anti-virus software are advantages
  5. Job Responsibilities:

    • Providing administrative support to the Donation Processing Department, such as processing donation transactions, inputting data and preparing receipt.
    • Contacting donor for data update and data clarification.
    • Assisting in quality control.


    Job Requirements:

    • Post-secondary or above with at least 3 years working experience, preferably in administrative support or customer services.
    • High quality awareness with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Detail-minded, good problem solving skills and able to work independently.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Chinese word processing.
    • Suitable candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Donor Services Officer.
    • On renewable contract term.
  6. Job Responsibilities:
    • Handling queries/requests from donors by coordinating with overseas offices.
    • Supporting donor retention activities.
    • Providing administrative support such as taking minutes and filing.
    • Supporting corporate events as required.


    Job Requirements:

    • Post secondary or above with at least 5 years working experience, preferably in customer services or sales administration with overseas partners/offices.
    • Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese.
    • Customer-oriented with good communication skills and problem solving skills.
    • Analytical, details-minded and well-organized with good PC skills.
    • Able to work independently.
    • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Donor Services Officer.
  7. Job Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative and logistics support to the Public Education Department
    • Liaise with external partners on service enquiries and follow up
    • Provide administrative support to team members on coordination of visits, talks, famines, trips, other education programs and corporate events


    Job requirements

    • Post secondary or above with at least 2 years administrative experience, previous experience in education, youth or children programmes are highly preferred
    • Hands on experience in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing
    • Mature, strong team player, good communication skills and attention to details
