  2. The Marketing & Education Director is responsible for overseeing and managing key functions in the organization, including Marketing, Public Education and Corporate Communications. This role holds ultimate responsibility for the organizations’ fundraising activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Marketing, Public Education and Communications Departments
    • Responsible for the fundraising results and the quality of external communications in both marketing & corporate functions
    • Lead and manage the day-to-day fundraising activities and marketing promotion programs of the Marketing department
    • Lead the Public Education Department to arouse the awareness of world poverty issues through education sectors and churches
    • Explore possibilities for initiatives in fundraising, public relations and educational campaigns
    • Build relationship with existing and new working partners and stakeholders to optimize available opportunities
    • Manage the planning process of yearly strategic and operation plan of the teams


    Requirements & Key Competencies:

    • A strong passion to serve the poor and needy
    • Degree holder with more than 10 years of management experience, preferably in marketing
    • Strategic, analytical, detailed orientated with strong sense of market trends and challenges
    • Strong relationship building capability and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent English and Chinese communications skills, both written and spoken

  3. Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop strategies and implement integrated marketing activities in order to achieve income from fundraising products, and corporate/major donors.
    • Identify, build and manage the relationship with corporate donors, major donors and other working partners to optimize available opportunities.
    • Manage the planning process of annual strategic and operation plan for the team.
    • Steer the fundraising activities to cope with the changing market environment.
    • Leverage the new tools, e.g. social media, new TV channels to achieve the business growth.
    • Supervise the team and ensure all fundraising activities are handled professionally
      Oversee budgets and costing for fundraising activities.

    Job Requirements & Key Competencies:

    • Bachelor degree or above in marketing or related field.
    • At least 8 years experience in marketing, account servicing and management, exposure to fundraising is a plus.
    • Proven track record in achieving business results.
    • Strong relationship building capability.
    • Strong analytical ability in evaluating results and recommending changes to strategies.
    • Strong marketing sense and performance driven.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • A strong passion to serve the poor and needy.
    • Fluency in English and Cantonese.

  4. The purpose of this position is to provide effective information technology services for the whole organisation, in developing in-house applications and networks, the corporate website, user training and technical support services.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Plan IT strategy, monitor budget and recommend procurement
    • Oversee the infrastructure operation in supporting network services, technical support services and Lotus Notes administration
    • Oversee the software development life cycle for in-house applications and the corporate website
    • Identify and implement appropriate IT security controls to ensure the confidentiality and availability of the information assets


    Requirements:

    • Candidate should have at least Bachelor degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
    • At least 10 years IT experience, including 5 years of managerial /supervisory role
    • At least 4 years in project planning, programming and system design
    • Experience in Windows Server, Domino/ Notes Email Server, SQL Server, Internet, Firewall and security management
    • Qualification of PMP for project management and experience in E-commerce and PCI-DSS compliance standard are advantageous
    • Good prioritization skills and flexible to adapt plans with constraints
    • A good team-player with strong leadership
    • Strong passion to serve the poor, especially the children

  5. Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide quality IT help desk technical support and hardware and software problem solving services to end users
    • Set up and install PC, printer, software and equipment
    • Maintain hardware, software asset and license management
    • Support and maintain a reliable network and connectivity for the organization
    • Conduct user training on IT software and user operation


    Job Requirements:

    • Diploma or above in Computing related studies
    • 3 years or above related experiences
    • Experience in managing desktop, printer, server and network appliance
    • Hands on experience with using and supporting popular desktop application and software packages e.g. Microsoft Office and Adobe products
    • Knowledge in Internet technologies such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, switching, routing and network security
    • Experience in using Symantec BackupExec and McAfee Anti-virus software are advantages
  6. Job Responsibilities:

    • Deliver talks, develop educational resources and simulation workshops for primary school students to develop their conviction in caring for the poor.
    • Design and implement awareness campaigns, programs and large scale experiential activities to promote youth's understanding of global poverty issues.
    • Liaise with schools on educational services and coordinate related administrative work.
    • Coach and supervise team members to ensure the provision of quality educational services and educational resources to primary schools and kindergartens.


    Job Requirements & Key Competencies:

    • University graduate, preferably in humanities, social science or communications with at least 5 years of working experience in related profession.
    • Identify with World Vision's mission and core values in serving the poor.
    • Knowledge in development and global poverty issue is an advantage.
    • A passion for children and young people, and a caring heart for the poor.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  Confidence in delivering talks for large groups and to different student segments, and leading discussion, workshops and simulated activities among children and youths.
    • Able to lead a small team; self-motivated and good attention to details.
    • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
    • On renewable contract term.
  7. Job Responsibilities:

    • To provide quality services to our donors
    • To handle donation transactions and related support
    • To provide support in quality control and work flow enhancement


    Job Requirements:

    • Post-secondary education or above with at least 3 years working experience
    • Detail-minded, good problem solving skills, customer-oriented
  8. Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative and logistic support to the whole department
    • Liaise with external partners on service enquiries and follow up
    • Support visits, talks, famines, trips, other education programs and corporate events as appropriate


    Job Requirements:

    • Post secondary or above with at least 2 years working experience, preferably in education, youth or children programmes and admin support
    • Hands on experience in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing
    • Mature, strong team player, good communication skills and attention to details
    • Post-secondary education or above
    • Customer-oriented with good communication skills
    • Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese
    • Candidate with less working experience but has potential to take up the tasks, we will consider to offer Assistant Donor Services Officer

    Position 1: Donor Services Officer(Partner)

    • To administer massive child information & data discrepancies with partnership officers
    • To handle donor's query/request with partnership offices, or vice versa
    • At least 5 years working experience, experience in customer services or sales administration with overseas partners will be preferred
    • High quality awareness with accuracy & efficiency, detail-minded, analytical, systematic & well-organised
    • Able to work independently and work under pressure


    Position 2: Donor Services Officer(Sponsor Services)

    • Responsible for Communicating with overseas offices (by email / phone) to follow up different requests and providing accurate information to our donors
    • Handle requests or enquiries of our donors (reply by phone / writing)
    • At least 2 years related customer services experience with overseas partners
    • Good problem solving /analytical skills
    • Able to work independently and work under pressure


    Position 3: Donor Services Officer(Hotline)

    • Provide customer services and handle outbound / inbound calls to donors
    • Have customer services / call center working experience will be preferable
    • Customer-oriented with good telephone manner
    • Detail-minded and well-organized


    • Promote Child Sponsorship Program through outdoor counters and outbound calls
    • Pleasant, sincere and self-motivated;willing to get touch with people;fluent in verbal communication
    • Willing to work in weekends and public holidays


    • 協助舊書回收義賣大行動,工作包括:處理大量書籍分類、上架、下架及倉務事宜
    • 協助活動人流控制及協調義工人手等安排
    • 有處理大量書籍或曾參與展銷活動等經驗優先考慮
    • 需刻苦耐勞,主動,有責任感及有良好溝通技巧
    • 按編更表安排,間中需星期六及日工作
    • 工作地點: 觀塘及鑽石山
